About Salta

Welcome to Salta, a charming destination and one of the main attractions of northwestern Argentina, where you can combine scenic landscapes with culture and history. We recommend that you begin your adventure by immersing yourself in its history, at Plaza 9 de Julio, the Museum of High Mountain Archaeology, San Bernardo Hill, the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, and the National Historic Monument of the Tastil Ruins. Although Salta is not as famous for its wine as Mendoza, it also has its wine charm. Discover boutique wineries and taste regional wines, such as the famous Torrontés, in a more intimate atmosphere.
In addition to the charms mentioned above, you can enjoy its diverse landscapes, from the mountains of the Calchaquí Valleys to the colorful ravines. If you are looking for an activity with more adrenaline, you cannot miss the train of the clouds, a railway that reaches up to 4,200 meters. And to relax, we recommend visiting the hot springs of Rosario de la Frontera, where you can spend a day at the spa at the hotel, and get into its pools that range from 24 degrees to 90 degrees. In short, in Salta you can have everything from incredible adventures to scenic landscapes and relaxation. Get ready to live a unique experience that will leave you breathless with us!
