What is Rentennials and how does it work?
Rentennials is the simplest way to rent a car, whether for vacation or work. Just download our app from Google Play o Apple Store, register, and you will immediately access a complete catalog of vehicles according to the area you have selected.
What are the requirements to rent a car?
To rent a car, you must be over 25 years old, complete our driver registration process from the app, and upload a photo of your driver’s license. Then the Rentennial support team will verify your information and request credit card information, which will be used to block franchise funds as insurance in case of accidents or breakages. If the vehicle is returned in the same condition as you received it, the franchise value will be released and your trip will be over.
How does the payment system work?
When you send a rental request, the host must accept your request within 24 hours. When they do, the system will charge you 20% of the rental as a deposit through Mercado Pago. Communication channels will then be enabled so you can coordinate the delivery and return of the vehicle and the payment method for the remaining balance, which must be paid at the time of vehicle pickup.
What are the terms and conditions for cancellation?
You can cancel your Rentennial up to 48 hours before your trip and the full deposit will be refunded to you. After that period of time, the tenant will not be able to claim that amount, which will be used in part to compensate the host.
Can a companion drive my rented car?
Only the person who completed the driver validation registration as a driver in our mobile application can drive a Rentennial vehicle. If you wish to add a third party to the list of permitted drivers, you must contact the vehicle owner and agree to the new terms in a contract.
What happens if I have an accident or fine?
In case of accidents, we recommend that you contact the Rentennials support team at our email ayuda@rentennials.app and then contact the insurer ASISTENCIA 24HS: 0810-333-3838 (toll-free). LEGAL ASSISTANCE IN THE EVENT OF ACCIDENTS: +54 9 261 538-6859 24 hours a day. Payment of fines will be the responsibility of the renter if they have occurred, who must be notified by the owner of the car at the end of your trip to make the payment.
How and where can I receive my rental car?
During the rental request process, the system will ask you if you would like to pick up the vehicle at a city location (free of charge) or at the airport (for a fee). The vehicle must be delivered by the host clean and with a full tank, and you must return it in the same condition.
Insurance policy and security measures
Although the safety of the vehicles is the responsibility of the hosts, at Rentennials we only accept units in good condition and with few years of age. If a vehicle is reported in poor condition, it will be immediately removed from the platform. Rentennials works in alliance with Triunfo Seguros, with a special policy that allows driving without a driver, in which the insurance is comprehensive and against third parties.
