Day 1: Arrival and visit to the Three Borders Landmark and Puerto Iguaz\u00fa<\/h3>\n

Whether you arrive in the morning or around noon, <\/span>this day is perfect for something relaxing<\/b>. Puerto Iguaz\u00fa invites you to explore a <\/span>traditional border town<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Puerto Iguaz\u00fa riverside is beautiful. <\/span>Walking by the river<\/b> and enjoying the <\/span>northeastern climate<\/b> is a rare treat. The <\/span>Three Borders Landmark<\/b><\/a><\/span> marks the symbolic meeting point of <\/span>Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another option is a <\/span>catamaran ride<\/b><\/a><\/span> on the Iguaz\u00fa River\u2014something few people do and a unique way to see the river landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the afternoon, visit <\/span>G\u00fcir\u00e1 Oga<\/b><\/a><\/span>, a sanctuary for rescued animals that aims to rehabilitate and return them to the wild. <\/span>Ideal for families with kids<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we suggest exploring the Misiones jungle<\/b> by taking Route 101 to Comandante Andresito<\/b>, then heading to <\/span>Urugua-\u00ed Provincial Park<\/span><\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

After visiting the park, return to Puerto Iguaz\u00fa via <\/span>Provincial Route 19<\/b>, connecting to <\/span>National Route 12<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Urugua-\u00ed Park is perfect for seeing <\/span>Misiones wildlife and nature<\/b>. You\u2019ll find <\/span>several trails<\/b> to walk throughout the day. Visit early in the morning or late afternoon for the best experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is what we mean by <\/span>driving through Iguaz\u00fa<\/b>: <\/span>a 200 km loop through Misiones<\/b>, with only 40 km on dirt roads.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to do it? As soon as you leave Puerto Iguaz\u00fa on Route 101, you\u2019ll find a <\/span>Gendarmerie checkpoint<\/b>. Ask about road conditions. If the road is open (usually in dry seasons), <\/span>drive slowly<\/b>. At some point, <\/span>turn off the engine and listen to nature<\/b>. You won\u2019t regret it.<\/span><\/p>\n
